*Job Description*
- Lead the overall planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale mixed-use construction projects, ensuring timely, scope-compliant, and on-budget completion.
- Oversee all project phases, from pre-construction through final closeout, managing performance in cost control, scheduling, and quality assurance.
- Manage subcontractor relationships and agreements, ensuring clear communication and accountability for deadlines and deliverables.
- Collaborate closely with clients, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring alignment with their vision and expectations.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, building codes, and regulatory requirements, working closely with the site Superintendent and Safety Manager to uphold high safety standards.
- Develop and monitor project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to track and enhance project profitability.
- Lead and mentor project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability to deliver top-tier results.
- Manage change orders, RFIs, and project documentation, ensuring all records are current and compliant with contract terms.
- Act as a primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and successful project delivery.
*Ideal Candidate*
- 8+ years of experience in Construction Project Management, with a strong background in mixed-use, retail, or commercial construction projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale projects, ideally valued at $20M or more, from pre-construction through closeout.
- Proficiency in construction project management software, financial tracking tools, and construction documentation.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage teams, subcontractors, and client relationships effectively.
- OSHA certification preferred, with a commitment to ensuring job site safety.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving project challenges.
