*Job Description*
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the full scope of work, including plans, specifications, logistics, materials, equipment, submittals, and other project requirements.
- Coordinate subcontractors and oversee on-site production.
- Prepare and maintain a three-week look-ahead schedule for all job site activities; submit updates to the Project Manager and/or Prime Contractor weekly.
- Lead the implementation of the company safety program, including job site inspections and weekly safety meetings.
- Maintain daily reports and submit them to the Project Manager or Prime Contractor.
- Review and adhere to project schedules to ensure timely completion.
- Document project progress with detailed photos covering all phases and features of work.
- Keep the job site clean, organized, and safe by promoting effective housekeeping practices.
- Oversee quality control to verify that all installed equipment and materials meet the approved submittal standards.
*Ideal Candidate*
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in construction project management.
- Demonstrated experience managing change orders.
- Strong working knowledge of skilled trades such as carpentry, masonry, concrete, site excavation, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, and electrical.
- Proficient in commercial construction technologies.
- Skilled at reviewing and interpreting construction documents, including specifications and drawings.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients.
- Previous experience working on healthcare construction projects is a plus.
