*Job Description*
- Assisting in the management of municipal construction projects from start to finish, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Collaborating with project superintendents to establish operational priorities and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Supporting the project administration team and construction engineers in day-to-day tasks related to public sector projects.
- Monitoring project costs and revenues, preparing forecasts, and ensuring financial alignment with project estimates.
- Addressing issues related to staffing, materials, equipment, and contract administration in complex, highly regulated environments.
- Partnering with the Safety Manager to maintain and exceed safety standards, particularly with public works protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Building strong relationships with superintendents, subcontractors, and the project team to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.
- Maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including RFI logs, change orders, and compliance records.
*Ideal Candidate*
- At least 2-4 years of experience in Construction Project Management, preferably in municipal or public-sector construction.
- A degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Hands-on knowledge of municipal construction requirements, including public safety regulations, infrastructure development, and government standards.
- Proficiency in construction technology and the ability to review construction documents such as specifications and drawings with a focus on municipal elements.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with government clients, management, subcontractors, vendors, and design teams.
