Job Summary:
Seeking a dynamic and results-driven Customer Sales Manager focused on new business development. This role is integral to our growth strategy and requires a proactive individual with a passion for sales and a deep understanding of the logistics industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and target potential clients in need of third-party logistics services.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business growth.
- Generate leads through various channels including utilization of internal systems and software's, prospecting, researching, cold calling, and lead generation.
- Conduct thorough market research to understand client needs and industry trends.
- Prepare and present compelling sales proposals to prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts, deals and close deals to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Serve as the main point of contact for new clients, ensuring a seamless onboarding process.
- Regularly follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling.
- Collaborate with internal teams including operations, customer service, and finance to ensure client needs are met.
- Utilize CRM software to track sales activities, client interactions, and progress.
Qualifications:
- Education: BA preferred but not required. Experience will supersede education
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of proven sales experience in the logistics or supply chain industry.
- Skills:
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and sales/ closing skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in CRM software and ability to learn sales prospecting tools (All tools will be provided in order to set you up for success)
