*Job Description*
- Assisting in the planning, scheduling, and management of all project phases to ensure they align with established deadlines and goals.
- Collaborating closely with the Project Manager to negotiate contracts with architects, vendors, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
- Supporting the process of securing building permits, licenses, and coordinating the timely delivery of materials and equipment to job sites.
- Monitoring construction progress to ensure productivity, adherence to safety regulations, and compliance with building codes.
- Participating in and helping lead project progress meetings with Superintendents and Subcontractors to review safety, quality control, project timelines, and material deliveries.
- Working with the project team to ensure that personnel, material, and equipment resources align with project requirements and schedules.
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with Project Managers, Superintendents, Subcontractors, and Clients to foster a cooperative, team-oriented approach to project execution.
*Ideal Candidate*
- 3+ years of experience in construction, with a focus on multifamily or commercial projects.
- Prior experience in a Project Management or Assistant Project Manager role is preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to assist in managing projects from inception to completion.
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach to ensuring project success.
- Familiarity with construction software and technology, including scheduling and project management tools.
